Ok, first I want to point out that the title has an ironic humor in it.... ofc financial crisis is something that must end as soon as possible but it has its benefits too....


One of those benefits is that at last, people realized that sometimes, the consequences of our actions can really be devastating... another benefit is that many companies proceed to interesting and pioneer ways of promoting their products.

Some months ago, me and my work's manager bought Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2009(it isn't cheap lol). It arrived two weeks later... ok... you will say, where does the financial crisis fit in...

A month later(after 3DS Max's arrival) we received a package from Ireland which contained Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2010. We never ordered it so why the hell did they send it to us... I asked our provider and he said that due to the fact that apart from 3DS Max 09, we also bought a one year subscription to Autodesk site, Autodesk sent us as a gift the 2010 version of the software oO....

I also read somewhere that this is a method to promote Autodesk products due to the difficult times we all go through recently.....

Of course I took 3DS Max 2010 at home lol... free original Max!
